One of our employees has tested positive and we have all been exposed to the virus.
In response, South Lake Cycle will be closed to the public for the time being. We will be following guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health and the CDC.
Note: Unfortunately we are unable to offer rentals this year due to supply shortages of bikes.
With everything going on, we want to make sure that you have what you need to get outside and back on your bike! Effective immediately, we will be open Wednesday through Saturday 11am-5pm and Sunday 12pm-4pm.
Want to try out a fat bike and have some good winter fun with the family today? Come to Manitou Park at the junction of Hwy 19 and the LRT, for great Artic Fever Festival activities. We'll be there with fat bikes for demo rides, and there will also be campfires, hot chocolate, snowshoeing, skating, and even human bowling! Make the most of the snow and sun!
We're excited for this event! Join us at the shop on Thursday evening, June 22nd at 7pm. FRAMED BIKES will be here with bikes for demo rides! There will be food, fun, and an opportunity to meet others in the community and share some great bike rider camaraderie . We'll also be doing demonstrations on HOW TO FIX YOUR FLAT TIRE. Come get your questions answered and learn the tricks from our friendly mechanics.
Group Road Rides SATURDAYS 9:00am
Join us for a group road ride every Saturday morning, starting April 8th. These no-drop rides are geared for any rider who wants to increase the fun and fitness in their cycling, and are designed as training rides to build up for the Tour De Tonka! All abilities welcome, road bikes recommended. Come on in the shop or give us a call with any questions!

We had an awesome weekend participating in the Tuscobia Winter Ultra 2017! Mark Schnorr (South Lake Cycle), Paula Carley (South Lake Cycle) and Jon Schnorr finished the 80 mile bike from Park Falls to Rice Lake Wisconsin on the Tuscobia State trail.
